KATE MOORE IS THE PHYSIOTHERAPY LEAD AT THE TIS AND THE PHYSIOTHERAPIST FOR THE TIS HOCKEY PROGRAM

Kate Moore works as a Hockey Australia Physiotherapy provider for the Jillaroos, which is the Australian U21 Women’s Team. As part of this role she travelled to Europe in June to support the team when playing games against The Netherlands, Belgium and Great Britain. In 2025 Kate will continue in this role and travel with the Jillaroos to the Junior World Cup qualifiers in New Zealand, practice matches in Europe in June, Darwin in September, and then onto the Junior World Cup in Chile in December.

Kate does this in addition to her role as Physiotherapy Lead at the Tasmanian Institute of Sport and the Physiotherapist for the Hockey Program at the Tasmanian Institute of Sport. Between September and December Kate worked as physio for the Tassie Tigers Hockey Team during the HockeyOne League. Hockey is a sport in which Tasmanians consistently excel with several players going on to represent Australia at an international level, including the Olympics. The Tassie Tigers Women’s team made history by narrowly missing out on a medal in the final – the first time in 40 years that they progressed to this point in the competition.

Kate manages all of this along with her continuing role as an experienced Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist at BODYSYSTEM.
