Our History
Founded by Kellie Wilkie in 2001, BODYSYSTEM has remained proudly Tasmanian owned and operated ever since. Kellie was determined that her patients would benefit from the best care and outcomes possible. This was achieved by providing longer than average treatment times, which allows for comprehensive assessments and consultations, while also reducing the number of visits required. This was coupled with a commitment to quality and evidence-based care, ongoing staff education and a culture of always optimising the health and well-being of both patients and staff.
BODYSYSTEM moved into 38 Collins Street in the mid 2000’s, and has continued to expand and develop. Fiona Hamilton joined Kellie as a Director in 2014, and BODYSYSTEM is now a bustling hub of 17 practitioners and 10 administrative staff over 2 sites. The Rehab Studio was opened in 2010 and since then has grown significantly. It is now situated at 129 Argyle Street as a fully functioning studio with state-of-the-art equipment and services.
